Each house I buy, I use the following companies. The closing costs I've saved has made me quite happy. I've found that using brokers and lenders around town that I spend at least $1500 more in closing costs. Also, using these lenders, I've been getting rates that are 1% lower than anything else around town. It is certainly good strategy as a buyer to get pre-approved before even starting your search. Personally, I feel like a more serious buyer after I know the financing is lined up. I'd highly recommend applying now!
